Third Grade had a fantastic school year!!! They learned many things. The children learned how to multiply and divide and also worked with really BIG numbers. They read many novels. Their favorite was Charlotte’s Web! The children wrote multi-paragraph stories in cursive and even did a research report that was three paragraphs long. They learned about the Revolutionary War, the Presidents, the Solar System, and the states. They presented a Famous American Wax Museum to their family and friends. They did experiments with plants and light. They even shared their classroom with some very special reptiles, amphibians and mammals .The class learned about weather conditions and the earth’s atmosphere. However, their favorite and most important part of Third Grade was preparing for and receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
