Thank you to all of the students for giving me so many joyful moments this year!
We finished up the year using IOCOM's teleconferencing software and taking a tour of North Mountain Park Nature Center in Ashland, Oregon. The sixth grade interacted with my son Jim as he walked through the Nature Center. It was a learning experience for all. Hopefully this will spark new learning opportunities and experiences for the students of St. Mary School. Here is an image that was taken at North Mountain Park as Jim interacted with our students.
The move is almost complete. The new computers will be arriving before school begins and we will be ready in our new space to begin the 2008-2009 school year. We will be training over the summer to prepare for our new learning environment and all the exciting things the Mac world has to offer. PC people do not be alarmed, we will still be using some Windows applications.
